Stitching Play - Part 2
Thread your needle… Let’s start Stitching.
One of the techniques I use when I start stitching, like I would when I paint, is to start by laying down my cast shadows with one of my darker threads. I outline what I can with thread - like drawing with thread. Start blocking in colors. Work intuitively, allowing the piece to unfold and lead the way.
Stitching - finishing up
In this final video we will look at making marks with our stitches, adding flowers and outlines, resolving your piece and wrapping up.
