TheWaterBearer
I am the vessel, I am TheWaterBearer
Hello beautiful creatives.
For the past couple of years, I have been collecting the most beautiful vessel shaped shells from my beach and they have been captivating me endlessly with there beautiful capacity to hold whatever I desire. I have even been creating bearers with broken and eroded vessel shaped shells mended and moulded together with my paperclay.
I have been utterly captivated by the alchemy of this creative play and I’ve been dying to share more of this with you.
Once again, I hope you will join me in this sweet tutorial workshop.
Much love, Jeanne-Marie

Lessons
I am the vessel, I am TheWaterBearer
Together we will make this sweet bearer of Water, Love and Wisdom.
Part 1
This lesson will start simply with an unassuming face and first allowing that to dry.
Using our dried face and vessel shaped shell and creating this beautiful being… TheWaterBearer.
How to make a coilpot vessel if you don’t have a shell cup.
Adding elegant hands to your piece.
Finding the rest of her story using a delicate napkin and acrylic paints.
If you are on the Studioworks Academy platform with Ivy Newport, then you will already have this lesson and if you are part of the ComeClaywithMe workshop, this lesson is also included there.
Part 2
I wanted the objective of this lesson to be about how even using damaged broken shells can make the most beautiful beings. Their beautiful imperfections can be made beautiful again in a new format and way. I love the promise of this.
Starting with another unassuming face.
Using our dried face together with our broken and damaged vessel-shaped shell and creating TheBearerofHolyWater.
Finding the rest of her story in the paint.
